Enterprise Settings Management How-Tos

In this step-by-step guide, we’ll go over the ways you can make the most of the new changes to Enterprise Settings Management. This includes making batch edits, scheduling edits, making unique edits to individual store locations, and downloading files for an audit.

These simple steps can save your team hours of time and effort, so that you can focus on other aspects of running your business. Let’s get started.

Making the same change to multiple sites

Instead of making a change to each store individually, the bulk action feature allows you to make store edits in bulk. Here’s how.

  1. First, go to Enterprise Management > Enterprise Settings Management.
  2. On the upper right hand side, next to “Editing,” select a previously created restaurant or location group or choose “All.”

  3. Then, search for or find the setting(s) you’d like to edit from the menu on the left.

  4. Check the box next to any setting you’d like to edit, for example, Holiday Hours, and follow the prompt to change the setting.
  5. At the bottom of the page, select “Save and Publish.” Note that there is also an option to save your changes as a draft.

Validating your edits

The next step is to confirm the changes you’re making in the system.

  1. On the following page, select “Validate,” to ensure the changes are made. Please note, this can take several minutes, especially if you have multiple store locations.

  2. After the page refreshes, review your changes, and confirm everything is correct. Select “Schedule Publish” to publish either now or at a future date. Please be aware publishing anytime in the past will cause the publish to happen immediately.

Making unique changes to multiple sites

Certain settings, like hours or sales tax information, might vary from location to location. The Individual Settings Management feature allows you to make bulk edits that are unique to each location.

Previously, you could go into General Settings for each store to change a setting, such as the store name. You can still use this method; however, it will take more time.

First, go to Enterprise Management > Individual Settings Management.

This brings you to a new page, as pictured below.

If you have any preconfigured store groups, select the group you wish to edit.

From the dropdown menu, select the settings type you’d like to make changes to.

Make the changes needed and select “Save Settings” when you’re done.

In this way, you can make several changes to individual stores at one time.
