Can I copy my menu to another restaurant?
Yes you can, though it is a feature our support team will need to enable for you. So first, you'll need to reach out to us via live chat, by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by giving us a call at 888-998-3286.
Once we have menu copying enabled for your account, you'll be able to see the option in your Open Dining control panel under the Menu tab. It'll show up just below your menu categories and items:
Clicking on the "Copy From" dropdown selector will give you a list of all the restaurants for which you are an admin. Choose the restaurant for the menu that you want to copy over from the dropdown.
IMPORTANT: you'll want to make absolutely sure that you are currently working in the restaurant that you want to copy the menu *TO*. Otherwise, you could end up completely wiping out a menu that you've already created, causing you unnecessary downtime and headaches.
Once you've selected the restaurant you wish to copy from via the dropdown, click the green Copy Menu button. You'll get a page letting you know that this process will erase any data in the active menu and asks you if you wish to proceed:
Clicking the Copy Menu button will confirm your choice and copy the selected menu to the active restaurant.
