How can I set my Delivery Area?

Unless you allow your drivers to travel across the country for a dinner-time delivery, you will probably want to configure a delivery area for your restaurant. This allows our system to know where you will and will not deliver, so that we can allow or block orders from specific locations.

There are 3 main options for setting your delivery areas:

Radius

The first method is with a simple radius. You simply enter the number of miles you want to deliver to. For example, if you enter a 2, this means that your delivery area will include everything that is within 2 miles of your restaurant. It is important to keep in mind that the 2 miles is "as the crow flies" meaning it is an actual straight line from the store to where the 2 mile border is, which will be more than 2 miles of driving.

This method is definitely the easiest to set up but the least accurate as far as distance goes.

Drawn Delivery Zone Maps

If you know exactly what street boundaries you have for your deliveries, mapping a delivery zone may be the best option for you. It is definitely the most accurate. This method allows you to specify exactly where you will and will not deliver. This option allows you to create multiple zones and to set different fees and lead times for each zone you draw.  How to create a drawn delivery map

Zip Codes

The 3rd and final option is to use zip codes. This option works well in certain areas, depending on how your local towns are laid out. It also offers the ability to set different fees, lead times and minimum order amounts for each zip code.
